The TROI Flex tags leverage a tag design originally developed for the automotive industry. The core of this tag consists of an RFID chip mounted on a small rugged circuit board with a metal wire antenna. This produces tags with a unique combination of strength and flexibility not previously seen with UHF Gen2 Passive RFID Tags.
These tags come in a wide variety of packaging and mechanical attachment options for both on-metal and non metal applications. Popular examples include tags integrated into wire zip ties, heat shrink material and Teflon. These tags are an excellent choice for challenging applications where durability and flexibility are attractive features.
